A few things you should know about me:
First off, I love what I do. My job is challenging most days but the biggest reward is the reactions and feedback I get from my clients when they receive their photos. I am originally from Nebraska but now live in Seattle and plan on staying here! I studied photography for 3 years at Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara. I love to laugh and making portraits of people is my favorite thing to do.

What it's like shooting with me:
It's important that people feel comfortable during a shoot so I can capture them as naturally as possible. It's my goal to make people laugh and enjoy themselves during a session; and I'll do my best to get to know you during our time together so I can create the best shots. I'm the photographer that you won't be surprised to see climbing a tree, tangled in bushes, or laying on the ground during our shoot.

I focus on building connections with my clients in order to make it the best shoot possible. I'm very non-traditional in my approach to photography. I love creating images both for myself and for others.

I'm constantly collaborating and learning from other photographers; this helps me to continue to challenge myself and try new things while still being true to myself and my style.

Hilary & Mark- Portraits

Hilary & Mark are two of my sister Laura’s friends who I met when visiting her right before I moved here. They are animal lovin’, socially conscious midwest turned PNWesterners who appreciate a good latte. They live in Fremont- one of my favorite areas- a perfect setting for this shoot. We headed to Fremont Coffee where we had a lot of laughs and some incredible coffee designs from the barista. I was so excited to get to shoot the colors of fall- something I’ve definitely missed the past 3 years I was in Santa Barbara! It was a short and sweet shoot- and oh so much fun! All these were edited with VSCOFILM!
